The Onkyo HT-S3300 is a 5.1 home theater system released in March, 2010. This product is comparable to Onkyo’s HT-S5300, a 7.1 surround sound system with greater power and an additional HDMI port. Included in the HT-S3300’s box is five 55w satellite speakers and a 130w subwoofer. Three HDMI 1.4 inputs are integrated into the receiver, allowing for 3D video to pass through to a high-def television.

The latest HD audio codecs are supported, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. This means users can enjoy the lossless soundtracks found on Blu-ray Disc movies. For those who are sensitive to inconsistent audio levels, the Audyssey Dynamic Volume feature will keep sound consistent.
