Customer Review

I visited an audio outlet near my home and tested out close to a dozen of portable sound systems before making this purchase. Many of the more expensive sound systems, such as Bose, sound a little better but this Altec Lansing model does pack quite a punch for its price and size.

The bass was surprisingly strong, and other features such as the iPod dock and the FM tuner works really well. This is a wonderful speaker unit for the price conscious, so long as you keep your expectations realistic.

Nevertheless, this model is not without its flaws. I am not too sure about this, but I don't think that it support iPhones. It has also...read more

Before purchasing the Energy Take classic I had some experience with the POLK RM705 and the Klipsch Quintet III sound systems. First of all it sounded very good for a system of its size. The sound produced were crisp and rich, very much like those of extremely expensive, high-end systems. I mounted the satellite speakers on the walls and the sub-woofer was just ...read more
